It was a beautiful day at Humboldt House. The food was delicious, the music was entertaining, the games were fun, the baskets for the raffle were beautiful but the main hit were the pony rides!
Spruce Meadow Farms, located in Clarence NY provided ponies rides along the beautiful walking path at Humboldt House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
“It was something a little different that we wanted to try and attract more participation from the community”, stated Isaac Williams, Administrator at Humboldt House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, “and it worked!”
“My daughter didn’t want to get off that horse! She had so much fun and I lost count at how many rides she had,” states Chevon, one of the employees at Humboldt House Rehabilitation and nursing.
Humboldt House was also assisted by a local group called Rise Up family who are dedicated to improving the community around them.
Humboldt House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center wanted to say a special thank you to Amherst Liquor, Wardynski’s Hot Dogs, Rise Up family, Evenhouse printing and all of the staff, volunteers and everyone who help make this not only a successful event but for making it just a great day!
This event was open to the public. Humboldt House Rehabilitation and Nursing Humboldt House is located at 64 Hager Street, Buffalo, NY 14208 and can be reached at (716)886-4377.
